A-Passive listening-The listener tries to make sense to out of a speaker's remarks without being able to interact with the speaker.
Example-Students listen to an instructor's lecture without having the opportunity to ask question (interact with the speaker).
B-Self-serving bias-We pay attention (practice) to judge ourselves in the most generous terms possible.
Example-When he lashes out angrily , we say he's being moody. When lash out angrily , we say, we are under pressure
